Missoula Children's Theatre

Every year, Grand Island Little Theatre hosts Missoula's Children's
Theatre (MCT) - the nation's largest touring children's theatre. Youth entering 1st through 12th grade
have a unique opportunity to be cast in a production to be performed in front
of family, friends and the community. If chosen for the play, each student is required to attend scheduled rehearsals. A rehearsal schedule will be announced following the casting of the show.
Students will not be excused from rehearsals or performances for other practices, appointments, etc. It’s imperative that each student keep the week completely free for Missoula rehearsals.
The traveling theatre team brings the set, lights, costumes, props and make-up. But the cast of 40 to 50 students brings the production to life. Over the course of one week, the show is rehearsed with two public performances that Saturday. Here's what one of the MCT Tour Guides had to say after completing their week in our theatre:
"The Grand Island Little Theatre is impressive. The facility is remarkable and so is the staff. I feel that this theatre truly believes in how enriching the arts can be and how the performing arts can give so much to the community. GILT is capable of anything. If given the opportunity, I would love to work with the Grand Island Little Theatre again." -Kristal Burk, Missoula Children's Theatre
Missoula Children's Theatre is based in Missoula, Montana. Their mission is "the development of lifeskills in children through participation in the performing arts." For more on MCT, visit their website.
